It seems like everything we do at Firebrand is a little different - so why should the submission process be exempt? This submission program was designed for ease of use (for both the agents and the authors!) and for practical use. We believe the author should know what’s happening with his/her submission at every step of the process—if his/her submission was received, the approximate reading time for your submission (as reading times fluctuate), and the status of your submission at any given time without worrying whether or not you’re "bothering" the agent.
